Back from my holiday in Japan and Malaysia.
Comic Fiesta, the ACG convention in Malaysia is really starting to pick up steam. It was always popular a few years back but this year and last they have moved to the KLCC convention halls. As far as I know, the biggest convention halls in Malaysia. And it was still packed to the walls with people.
It's become some kind of cross hybrid of Comiket and SDCC. I really do wish Fiesta would go 3 days. 2 days simply isn't enough and with the amount of traffic and demand for tickets, they could! Speaking with some of the doujin booths there and they too wish they had 3 days simply so they could move more product.
And Japan, oh how I missed it. My first Comiket since 2010. And it's still as horrible as I remember it in a good way. Made a lot of new friends and got to experience a stay in an actual hostel with like 8 people squeezed in the same room.
But anyway, here's a Yuri Sakazaki by Arnold Tsang I had done this past SDCC. Should update this blog more since I seem to be getting some kind of traffic through here.
